Iran Unveils Several Knowledge-Based Products
Mohammad Ali Zolfi-Gol, the Minister of Science, Research and Technology, unveiled a cutting-edge type of long pulse-width Holmium laser and several other knowledge-based products during the second day of "Iranian university presidents' summit" in Tehran.
The new achievement, long pulse-width Holmium laser, can be utilized in the field of spine, brain and nerve surgery, intra-organ stone breaking and soft tissue cutting and tumor removal.
In the meantime, the minister unveiled "Troponin rapid detection kit" in plasma serum and whole blood samples, "plasma explosion device", "kidney stone surgery laser" and "neurosurgery laser" during the gathering of academicians.
It should be mentioned that the entire newly-unveiled products have been locally made by the Iranian experts.
The Troponin Rapid Test Device is a rapid visual immunoassay for the detection of cardiac Troponin I in human whole blood, serum, or plasma specimens. This kit is intended to be used as an aid in the diagnosis of myocardial infarction (MI).
